Digital Storytelling

Course Snapshot: This course will have students working as filmmakers from initial idea to film screening! Students in this class will try their hands at all aspects of the filmmaking process - from screenwriting to directing to editing - all while encouraged to make creative decisions that will aid in telling their story. Learning how to act for the camera will also be taught, giving students an opportunity to see what it’s like in front of the lens. This class will take a look at movies throughout film history as a way of identifying and learning about how shots are set up as well as how the camera’s perspective can tell a story. Students interested in learning how to express themselves and their ideas through this exciting medium should take a look at this class!
