Course Snapshot: In this course, students will organize and run their own broadcasting company - KMS-AVS! As a news team, they will select and report on stories relevant to their community audience base. Throughout they will learn about writing news for broadcast, anchoring, film editing, studio tech, conducting interviews, and special reporting. Throughout the semester they will take on a variety of roles such as journalist, news anchor, editor, and newsroom manager.
